My love of Railways goes back to when I was a Kid and being taken in my pram to watch the trains go by on the Great Western main-line at Southall.

I am a member of the GWS at Didcot, the West Somerset Railway and the Bluebell Railway in Sussex

Neal > Long distance unit 159003 heading an Exeter service through Fleet with unit 159101 at the rear.

This was part of a work project where I needed some shots of some South West Trains units.

Neal > 444038 seen on a Southampton or Bournemouth fast service running through Fleet station non-stop

Neal > Presumably the signal box dates from 1904 when the 2nd platform was added, together with the passing loop and level crossing gates.

Blue Anchor is the 2nd station out of Minehead on the West Somerset Railway.

Neal > The Bluebell Real and Jazz evening - Friday 13th April 2012. It was cold, but at least the rain stayed away!

This shot was made by changing the zoom on the lens, during the 20 odd second exposure. I'm quite pleased with the effect.
